White Christmas?

We had our first bit of snow for the year this afternoon. Just light flurries, only a scant amount of snow on the ground.

The way these southerners act you’d think it was 6 inches of snow. There aren’t many snow trucks here, in fact, our county has no snow plough at all. It doesn’t snow here enough to budget for snow removal. This is not a problem for seasoned winter veterans like the man and woman. To them this is nothing. It’s fun to watch the local news and all the talk is about the snow, they are all in a tizzy about it.

Good thing the man got new tires on my truck.

Nothing can stop us now, not even snow. We just have to worry about all the crazy, inexperienced southern drivers on the road.

Alright, onto my other adventure of the day. Today Mr. Penguin finally finished his holiday shopping; what a relief! I just finished wrapping all my gifts and boxing them up to ship out. It feels good to have that task done and out of the way.

Now, it's time for me to snuggle up between the man and woman and watch a movie, which is just what I intend to do now that all my things are done for the day.
