Perfectly Portioned Penguin Pies
For Thanksgiving dessert the woman made these pies for me. They are the perfect size for a penguin. The only problem is I keep filling up on all the food--turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, etc--that I haven't been able to eat my desserts. I have had a taste of each via a bite from the man and woman, but my poor little tummy isn't accustomed to vast amounts of food at once; I just haven't been able to make room in my tummy for a little pie. I feel bad about not eating them yet, since the woman went through the trouble of making them for me, but I don't want to make myself sick. We already have one sickly person in the house, we don't need any more.
On a happier note, I was finally allowed to put our Christmas tree up. I have been begging to do it for weeks, ever since the woman bought a tree, but I was told I'd have to wait until after Thanksgiving was over. Well, today was finally the day. We set it up and Mr. Penguin did all the trimming and decorating himself. I had to have a little help plugging in the lights. I'm very pleased with the results. Let the Christmas season begin!
