To Market, To Market
Of course we had to go check out the Farmer’s Market again while on vacation. There was a special surprise for me. Fresh fish!
That’s right, there was a fish monger.
Obviously, I was immediately drawn to his booth to check out the fish.
The man was even kind enough to let us hold a fish. My lady friend had to help me out a little holding it.
He was so nice to us, I have to give him a shout out:
Eventually, I was torn away from the fish to check out the other vendors. I had to sit up high so I could see everything.
I remember these hats from last year.
There was lots of appealing produce, as you would expect from a farmer's market.
I helped pick out some corn.
We were hoping the jeweler who made the petosky pendants would be there. My lady friend lost her’s recently on the subway and is in need of a replacement. But, alas, the same jeweler maker wasn’t there this year. The closest we came were some polished petoskys.
Moving along, these interesting pieces caught my eye:
The pegs of the coat rack and shelves are made from shotgun shells. I thought that was such an interesting idea.
It seemed like this year there weren't as many vendors so we weren't there for long. As we were leaving, this license plate grabbed my attention, for obvious reasons.
