Ready for Relaxation and Fun

robe3

This weekend the man, woman, and myself will be boarding a plane headed up north. Next week we will be on vacation. I'm excited to be reunited with my lady.

Of course I needed some new threads to sport while out and about town. I made a (long) wish list of outfits from Build-a-Bear. Then the woman went over it, narrowing it down, and finally, the man had the final say. I got 3 new outfits.

They just arrived in the mail this weekend:

As soon as it came I ripped it open to look over my picks:

There was a luxurious robe that I'm sporting in the first picture in the post:

It's so soft and comfortable, I ended up wearing it most of the weekend.

I also wanted a jersey tshirt with colored sleeves. The man has some and I like them, so I wanted to be handsome like him in a jersey shirt of my own:

I pull it off effortlessly, as you can see below:

The last outfit is my favorite. Since then woman often requires my help in the kitchen preparing food, I decided I should look professional while in the kitchen. Hence this complete chef's outfit:

All that's missing is an apron

The hat's a little big, but I'll still wear it. Nobody wants to find feathers in their food.

Don't worry, I'll be blogging about my vacation. Hopefully, it will be a bit quicker than last year.

Emperor Penguin’s New Clothes

Photobucket
My naked strike has ended. The man finally ordered me some clothes:

I have my own flannel (like the man’s):

A shirt from the man’s alma mater:

and from the woman's alma mater:

And my absolute favorite, my very own nightshirt:

This hasn’t left my body since putting it on. It’s so comfortable. Now that I have clothing options, I will focus my attentions on getting the man to take me on a vacation somewhere so I can show them off....hopefully no strike will be necessary.

Mr. Penguin Gets a Bath and Goes on Strike

Photobucket

Last week I got my first bath. The man complained my face was looking a little dirty, so the woman gave me a bath. My tummy is red from my t-shirt (as you can see in the above photo), and she worked really hard to make my tummy white again. Ever since my bath I have refused to wear a shirt until the man gets me new clothes. Hopefully it will happen soon, since now whenever he looks at me he sees my bare chest. This is designed to guilt him into buying me some clothes. In the after shot (below) you will notice the man in the background. He was jealous of all the attention I was getting and just had to be in one of the photos. Again, hopefully my generosity pays off in some new threads for Mr. Penguin.

The Nightshirt

One of my favorite shows on television shows is “How I Met Your Mother.” Ever since watching the episode about Marshall’s nightshirt, the man and I have wanted nightshirts of our own. Well, yesterday the woman went shopping at Nordstrom and came home with a gift for the man—his very own nightshirt. And what did she bring Mr. Penguin? Nothing, that’s what. It didn’t help matters when the man came home and immediately tried on the nightshirt and began wearing it around, commenting on how comfortable it was. What I want to know is where’s my nightshirt? Mr. Penguin likes to get new clothes, too. Just look at how soft and cozy the nightshirt is (don't worry, the following pictures were taken after the woman had washed the nightshirt).

When nobody was looking I tried it on, just to see what it was like:

It was wonderful! I have to sleep in an itchy red sweater. Oh, how I would love to have a soft, comfortable nightshirt to sleep in. It’s just not fair; I must figure out a way to get one for myself, preferably one that has a matching sleeping hat. The man offered to share it with me:

I guess it's ok, for now... But, I'm still holding out to get one of my own.
